It allows you and your associates to access areas of your computer from any location using a standard web browser, just like any other internet web site. MyWebServer is the only tool you'll need to create your own secure virtual community. You can choose to operate a secure system that only you can access. Or you can choose to allow your files and web pages to be accessed by those people who you issue passwords to. Besides functioning as a web server and hosting your personal web site on the Internet MyWebServer comes equipped with several built in Web Applications like the Favorites Page. The Favorites Page publishes the collection of internet shortcuts or book marks from your web browser on a web page of your personal web site. Features Full Web Server for hosting your personal web site on the Internet. Easy to use password protection to secure all or some of your published files. Virtual Domain Naming Service - Maintains a static named Internet address for your computer. Dual Servers activate a second server on your computer. Virtual Directories are one-word shortcuts to pages on your web site. Generic Web Form Handler saves all submitted web form data to text files for processing. Complete support for html pages or any other types of text or binary files. Runs cgi programs or scripts. Includes several built in Web Application Pages that are generated programmatically Favorites List Page - Contains the favorites list from your web browser. Search Page - Lets users search for files through your published directories. Download Page - Enables users to Browse through your published directories for files to download. Upload Page - Lets users upload files to a directory you specify. User List Page - Publishes a list of who has been on your server recently. Webmasters Page - Lets you easily check your messages, uploads and posts. Remote Administration Page - Lets you modify the server options and properties.
